i like the thought of this poem
i have a very curious question..
are you a male or female? heh..
its a he..
I know fiveloaf is a man by instincts…
funny question on top.
neat post!
instinctively accurate! its crazy but people are beginning to get curious over my identity..
I really liked it…at the beginning I was kind of confused. But then I really red it again, and I saw the true meaning.
Very nice.

thanks jessicas..
Very unique, and well said, but be careful what you believe, for what we believe, it seems to me — have a habit of coming true. Indeed this was a nice twist of the “mind” … Bravo!
tq Ijm my friend..
brief yet mind blowing!truly fantastic!made my brain alive and kicking!
thanks june- you made my day!
yeah believe is much better sometimes…
thank you rikka..
A thought provoking write, nicely done.
Anita.
thank you anita..
Very clever, well done! A candle flame will dispel the darkness in the circle of it’s strength…you don’t need much light, much truth or much belief to make a difference to yourself and someone else. :))
thanks eaton.. heed your thoughts..
Nice wordplay here!
thanks mair..
I forget what this kind of poetry is called, but I’m sure it has a name. Love the use of repetition to interpret different things.
this kind of poetry is called poetry by kris lee or fiveloaf if it has a name haha! (just kidding lol!) but really, i would love it if someone could classify all my poems for me.
One cannot have light without darkness (and vice-versa)
Nice piece, fiveloaf!
thanks eric..
light and darkness, go figure it when the truth need them. I liked it very much!
thank you scent
Good use of contrast with very few words. I like the way you set this one up. Nice flow, and I’m glad to have my preconceived notion that you were a ‘he’ confirmed.
haha oh yea and thanks hedgewitch!
Certainly a poem to make one think. I enjoyed this.
🙂 thank you teresa…
Even when we write, we got twisted thoughts!
You are so right here!
hey thanks amity!
So true…a break always helps me straighten mine…I like it Fiveloaf.
thank you 2Z..:)
light is not bright without darkness…
simple words but meaningful message.

It is true though… 🙂

thanks tootsie..
This piece is so powerful.
this is flattery angela– thanks!
the type of poetry is just called blank tercets. It’s still technically free verse, just what i like to call ‘nicely-structured free verse’. And great word economy, as usual. Tercets are my favourites. I use blank tercets a lot. Though there is a lot of repetition here so maybe someone wants to argue my definition…
thanks bro for enlightening me on this style of poetry. looks like you are the expert here true and true and i am just a novice who likes to conceptualize my writings for better effect haha!
WHOA! Love it.
